If you need help to take off those last few strokes, our PGA Professional staff provides comprehensive lessons in both group and private settings for golfers from age 5 to 95! Our teaching professionals utilize all of our practice facilities, as well as on-course playing lessons. One lesson often unlocks unlimited scoring potential by correcting basic flaws in swing, grip, posture and set-up.
Jay McLelland joined Valley Hill Country Club in April of 2004. Jay’s love for golf began when he was 14 years old and had his first job at a local golf course. From there his passion grew and he turned pro at the age of 19. At 26, he became a member of the PGA. Jay has played in three PGA Tour events and multiple web.com events. Jay is certified in club fitting by Ping, Titleist, and Callaway. He specializes in Trackman swing analysis and the V1 Digital Coaching System. For Jay, the most rewarding part of golf is teaching others the sport and watching them improve. Jay has instructed many junior golfers that have gone on to play at the college level.
Jay is from Meridian, MS. He is married to Jennifer and they have 4 children.
Mason White joined Valley Hill Country Club in May of 2011. Mason started playing golf at the age of ten. Before moving to Huntsville, he worked at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Indiana as a Caddie Master. Mason’s favorite part of playing golf is being outdoors.
